Here is a chaise that is constructed of reclaimed waste material from the bottle-stopper industry. The sight of them connects with our core and bespeaks the essence of our trade. In addition to using recycled steel in the form of containers, green creds include a high performance building envelope, ultra-efficient HVAC, energy recovery ventilation and daylight sensing light fixtures.\u00a0 For the outside, the site is designed to reduce storm water runoff.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2136\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2136\" style=\"width: 610px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/interspace-design.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/repurposed-container-home.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2136\" title=\"repurposed-container-home\" src=\"https:\/\/interspace-design.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/repurposed-container-home.jpg\" alt=\"A house from repurposed shipping containers\" width=\"456\" height=\"303\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2136\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Five shipping containers were transformed into a striking, energy efficient home.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The 2,600 sf home was built with used <a href=\"https:\/\/www.archute.com\/shipping-container-homes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">shipping containers<\/a> from China. The home\u2019s vibrant d\u00e9cor\u00a0belies its modest origins.
